Basic Maths Functions - Add/subtract/multiply/divide
Once the underlying concepts have been mastered, we move onto the various functions of mathematics. All of the basic maths functions are also covered in a real world situation and then in a maths situation “ for example: 'Add' - meaning 'join together' “ for many people that have difficulty with maths, these simple maths functions are not understood on a basic level. Once this is achieved progress can happen. It is not tutoring, although we do cover maths problems at a basic level to ensure the person can understand.
How long is the program?
The program takes 8 days and is run one on one. It goes at the client pace, allowing the client to reach certainty.
Why does the program take so long?
The program takes so long, because there is so much involved in becoming confident at math. If it was easy, there would not be the problem in the first place.
Program results?
The individual reaches a level of confidence and certainty in all of the basic maths functions. This will allow the individual to undetake any type of math, since all math is a function of adding, subtracting, multiplying or dividing. It may look complicated and it may be complicated, but each step of any equation, at it's most basic level, is just using these functions.
